My path as an educator has been an intricate and evolving mosaic, rooted in a deep love for language and connection. Since 1998, I’ve taught privately in various forms—beginning as an English teacher even before attending university, then continuing throughout my university years until 2003.

Later, I reimagined my teaching to focus on Spanish, working with both students and adults in Montréal between 2006 and 2010. From 2009 to 2011, I also served as a music teacher in a high school for youth with attention challenges—an experience that deepened my understanding of how learning styles intertwine in surprising and beautiful ways.

Now, since 2022, I’ve returned to Spanish instruction through Español con Sebastián, offering lively, accessible lessons to individuals and groups in Nova Scotia. Teaching for me has always been more than content—it’s about crafting spaces where ideas, laughter, and growth can transcend the ordinary.

I’m always open to new venues and communities where Spanish can beckon as a verdant, shared interest, drawing people together through curiosity, rhythm, and joy. Whether in a classroom, a community hall, or a quiet one-on-one session, I strive to delve into the labyrinth of human learning, always guided by empathy, flexibility, and a passion for connection.
