This past Saturday, July 26, 2025, the time was for Pembees Gardens, where Cara and Frankie, owners of the farm, kindly ran one of their great events, and I was lucky enough to be part of it. The day was beautiful, and the people were super nice. Thanks a lot to the South Shore Multicultural Association for sponsoring the event as well and for their remarkable support of us artists!
I am happy that Latispanica.org exists because Halifax is in dire need of Latin American cultural leadership, and they have filled that void the best way possible. A huge THANK YOU to the entire team that put this event together. It was a true pleasure to be part of the performers, and I cannot wait to be back next year!
I had never played in front of so many people, there must have been between 500 and 1000 inside the LCLC arena that day (not behind me but in front of me!) I felt every song I played in every fiber of my heart and soul, and some little beings (kids) joined me in my dancing, as well as the drumming act after I had asked them to do so which they gladly accepted. I can't wait to play for a large South Shore crowd again! A special thanks to Brian Fralic and the whole South Shore Multicultural Association team.
I never say no to my kids' school whenever I can help in any way. This time, as it has been the case before, I added myself to the list of performers. This year I had my full repertoire ready, so this was officially the first time I played as a musician. Special thanks to all the parents of the school who made this event possible.
